WHY GOLF IN ICELAND?
YES, WHY??
Do you know what time of the day the picture in the background is taken? It is taken at night, and that is why we are here; To play golf in the evening. The island has beautiful golf courses and bright summer nights to play the game – and it goes without saying that it is almost never too hot to play golf here. Not too cold either because, surprising to many, it is a quite comfortable climate for golf.
THE GOLF COURSE
Brautarholt GC, has the most stunning scenery of any golf course in Iceland. Set on the cliffs at Kjalarnes just north of Reykjavik, the views are spectacular the whole way around. Whether you’re standing on the 1st green, lining up your tee shot on the 3rd or holing out on the 5th the scenery will always take the pressure of your golf game as you marvel at the surroundings.
The next best thing about Brautarholt GC is the fact it is twelve holes, so you have different options for eigtheen - or even more.

ABOUT US
If you are looking for a great time on a golf course in a unique environment then First on Tee can take care of that for you.
My name is Birgir and I am the founder of First on Tee. I am passionate about golf and meeting with people who share the same golf travel interest. Introducing Icelandic golf is one of the things I enjoy the most. My personal involvement in the sport industry for many years and always finding pride and privilege in servicing visitors of the golf courses is the reason First on Tee was founded in the first place.
The south west part of Iceland has a quite large number of golf courses. In the greater Reykjavik area, 5 of the 10 courses are 18 holes. Furthermore, there are eight 18 hole courses within a 90 minute drive from the capital city. For more information, just drop us a line!
